Catechesis

✦ Catechesis

To know Jesus and Living the Faith

Catechesis is a journey of encounter with Jesus Christ, formation in the Catholic faith and preparation for a more conscious, participatory and committed Christian life with God and with the community.

A journey of faith for children, young people and families

Catechesis helps each person to know God better, the Church, the sacraments, the Word of God and the beauty of the Christian life. It is a time of learning, prayer, coexistence and spiritual growth.

In the Católicos em Ennis Community, Catechesis is also a space of welcome for Brazilian families who live in Ireland and wish to transmit the faith to his children, keeping the Christian journey alive even far from Brazil.

To catechize is to help the person to encounter Jesus, to know the faith of the Church and learn to live as a disciple of Christ on a daily basis.
