✦ Music Ministry

Singing is Pray twice

Music Ministry helps the community to pray, celebrate and praise God through singing, harmony, prayer and service at Holy Mass and in pastoral activities.

Music at the service of prayer

The Music Ministry's mission is to lead the community to prayer through singing. At Holy Mass, in prayer groups, formations and meetings, music helps the heart to open oneself to God and favors a deeper participation in the faith.

Serving in music is not a performance, but a ministry. Every voice, instrument and rehearsal must be at the service of the liturgy, evangelization and communion of the community.

Music evangelizes when it is born of prayer, it is prepared with love and helps the community to find God.

Mission of the ministry

Leading the community to praise

Music Ministry serves to support community prayer, help with participation of the Holy Mass and to make the meetings of the community more lively, prayerful and welcoming.

Music is not a presentation

In the Church, music is not there to highlight people, but to lead the community to the encounter with God. Therefore, those who serve in the Music Ministry need to cultivate humility, prayer and a spirit of unity.

The most important thing is not only to sing well, but to help people pray better. The beauty of music lies in the service rendered with faith and love.

🙏

Music Ministry Spirituality

The musician who serves in the Church is called to be a person of prayer. Before singing to God, one must listen to God in one's heart. Music becomes evangelization when it is lived with faith, humility, surrender and love for the community.
